Enlightened leadership is spiritual if we understand spirituality not as some kind of religious dogma or ideology but as the domain of awareness where we experience values like truth, goodness, beauty, love and compassion, and also intuition, creativity, insight and focused attention.-Deepak Chopra
I will try to understand “What is Insight: Intuition?” You
may setup in where ever you want to correct or supplement. As far as I know or
understand, Insight is the understanding of a specific cause & effect in
a specific context. The term insight can have several related meanings: (1) A piece of information, (2) The act or result of understanding
the inner nature of things, (3) An introspection,
(4) The power of acute observation
and deduction (sometimes
equated to intellect or intelligence (5)
An understanding of cause and effect based on identification of
relationships and behaviors within a model, context, or scenario.
Intuition is also more or less same. Intuition is
the ability to acquire knowledge without inference and/or the use of reason. "The word 'intuition' comes from the Latin word
'intueri' which is usually translated as 'to look inside' or 'to contemplate'.
An insight or Intuition that manifests itself suddenly, such
as understanding how to solve a difficult problem, can be termed as The Eureka
effect, which is known as the Aha!
Effect, refers to the common human experience of suddenly understanding a
previously incomprehensible problem or concept.
In psychology,
insight is referred to the sudden discovery of the correct solution following
incorrect attempts based on trial and error. It may come due to Spatial
Ability, Using Verbal Ability, due to high emotion, Incubation, Deep
Sleep, In Brain etc.
Insight, intuition is nothing but constant meditation on a
subject, sometime knowingly but most of the time unknowingly. When any subject
or problem goes deep in mind and mind does not find a suitable answer, it goes
on meditating over it without being noticed then all of sudden it springs its
answer. That is what a insight is. Nothing can define it & it’s working
completely but one can feel it as Archimedes felt it in “Eureka Moment”.
The Insight: Intuition is also being called as Eureka effect
or Aha Moment. In short and simple words Insight or Intuition may be called as
sudden explosion of solution to any problem. But is it enough to describe it?
We all know it is something deeper than what can be written about them. We all
have felt some insight or intuition at some moment of our life. Finding a
solution to some mathematical riddle, finding path for future development,
ladies of house suddenly announcing some forecast which happens to be true in
future, lurking fear of failure, having confidence of success without any chances, are few example of Insight or Intuitions which we all have
felt in our life. In nut shell everyone has insight though some have more &
some less. Very safely I can say it as a one of greatest gift to us by nature.
Few gifted human have great insight since birth, some acquire
it afterward but some loose it too wasting the precious gift given by nature. Gandhiji
is a prime example of a man whom nature gifted great insight. He himself was
unable to understand from where nerve rocking thoughts were generated inside
him. He called it as “inner voice”. Some call it as “God’s Voice" too. All spiritual leaders, Great scientists, market, social
& political leaders always had great insight.
Today we have taken
first setup to understand Insight: Intuition. We will talk further in some other post more
about it.
…….Next few post will be about few some spiritual leaders
& their teachings.
Friends! Now it is time for your wise input.

Today’s Tip to increase Insight: Intuition:
- Though Insight: Intuition is something related to mind say super mind but you can’t work there directly. So start from your body.
- In night when you are finally going to sleep:
- Feel the bed by your palms. Feel bed-sheet freshness if it is fresh, feel it shrinkage, every curve, color etc, feel it fully.
- When lying on bed, feel the bed completely.
- If bed is not clean & you can’t clean due to any reason, don’t worry, feel the uncleanness too.
- Accept the bed, pillow fully as it is. Don’t reject it’s any part. Don’t try to shy out due to any reason. Enjoy it fully.
- Now drifting to sleep, let body go to relax, but you just watch the body relaxing.
- Let by & by sleep take over. Try to see sleep taking over your body till you can.
- Don’t worry. You sleep will not be disturbed IF YOU DON’T CONCENTRATE OVER SLEEP. So just watch it.
- The length of watching is not important.
- Give it a try for 90 days & see the difference.
You input, suggestions, post, stories, photos, life events, awesome experience is invited.

Intuition in spirituality is considered as a journey from the lower truth to the higher truth, which saints called the Divine Light. while discussion whether a God exists or not continues forever without ever knowing the Truth, Indian thought process involved what is called "Transcendental meditation" and seeing inside self. In this method the philosopher strives to achieve what he calls the unconscious through the conscious mind. You can call it a 'bridge between material knowledge and spiritual realization" In the aesthetic intuition the artist sees an object at a higher plane than what is appearing to the physical eye, appearing to achieve the spiritual identity of the object to attain Perfection.
ReplyDeleteZen philosophy teaches "the existence knows the Existence", while simultaneously losing sight of the knowledge of the very existence. It is called losing one's outer self to an inner self which the theist calls "God or Inner Light" and atheist calls "Perfection". Both lead to the same path "That which we call Perfection" Another school of philosophy says intuition comes after imagination and inspiration which is identification with the Higher Knowledge losing sight of the individual ego.
Tomorrow I will try to explain "Clairvoyance" which is "reading the thoughts" of others.
It is a good reminder to practice "Mindfulness". Being more mindful in everyday situations, with practice can make a huge difference combined with meditation.
