Insight: Intuition: A Study

Enlightened leadership is spiritual if we understand spirituality not as some kind of religious dogma or ideology but as the domain of awareness where we experience values like truth, goodness, beauty, love and compassion, and also intuition, creativity, insight and focused attention.-Deepak Chopra
I will try to understand “What is Insight: Intuition?” You may setup in where ever you want to correct or supplement. As far as I know or understand, Insight is the understanding of a specific cause & effect in a specific context. The term insight can have several related meanings: (1) A piece of information, (2) The act or result of understanding the inner nature of things, (3) An introspection, (4) The power of acute observation and deduction (sometimes equated to intellect or intelligence (5) An understanding of cause and effect based on identification of relationships and behaviors within a model, context, or scenario.
Intuition is also more or less same. Intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge without inference and/or the use of reason. "The word 'intuition' comes from the Latin word 'intueri' which is usually translated as 'to look inside' or 'to contemplate'.
An insight or Intuition that manifests itself suddenly, such as understanding how to solve a difficult problem, can be termed as The Eureka effect, which is known as the Aha! Effect, refers to the common human experience of suddenly understanding a previously incomprehensible problem or concept.
In psychology, insight is referred to the sudden discovery of the correct solution following incorrect attempts based on trial and error. It may come due to Spatial Ability, Using Verbal Ability, due to high emotion, Incubation, Deep Sleep, In Brain etc.
Insight, intuition is nothing but constant meditation on a subject, sometime knowingly but most of the time unknowingly. When any subject or problem goes deep in mind and mind does not find a suitable answer, it goes on meditating over it without being noticed then all of sudden it springs its answer. That is what a insight is. Nothing can define it & it’s working completely but one can feel it as Archimedes felt it in “Eureka Moment”.
The Insight: Intuition is also being called as Eureka effect or Aha Moment. In short and simple words Insight or Intuition may be called as sudden explosion of solution to any problem. But is it enough to describe it?
We all know it is something deeper than what can be written about them. We all have felt some insight or intuition at some moment of our life. Finding a solution to some mathematical riddle, finding path for future development, ladies of house suddenly announcing some forecast which happens to be true in future, lurking fear of failure, having confidence of success without any chances, are few example of Insight or Intuitions which we all have felt in our life. In nut shell everyone has insight though some have more & some less. Very safely I can say it as a one of greatest gift to us by nature.
Few gifted human have great insight since birth, some acquire it afterward but some loose it too wasting the precious gift given by nature. Gandhiji is a prime example of a man whom nature gifted great insight. He himself was unable to understand from where nerve rocking thoughts were generated inside him. He called it as “inner voice”. Some call it as “God’s Voice" too. All spiritual leaders, Great scientists, market, social & political leaders always had great insight.
Today we have taken first setup to understand Insight: Intuition.  We will talk further in some other post more about it.
…….Next few post will be about few some spiritual leaders & their teachings.
Friends! Now it is time for your wise input.
----XXXX---
Today’s Tip to increase Insight: Intuition:
  • Though Insight: Intuition is something related to mind say super mind but you can’t work there directly. So start from your body.
  • In night when you are finally going to sleep:
  • Feel the bed by your palms. Feel bed-sheet freshness if it is fresh, feel it shrinkage, every curve, color etc, feel it fully.
  • When lying on bed, feel the bed completely.
  • If bed is not clean & you can’t clean due to any reason, don’t worry, feel the uncleanness too.
  • Accept the bed, pillow fully as it is. Don’t reject it’s any part. Don’t try to shy out due to any reason. Enjoy it fully.
  • Now drifting to sleep, let body go to relax, but you just watch the body relaxing.
  • Let by & by sleep take over. Try to see sleep taking over your body till you can.
  • Don’t worry. You sleep will not be disturbed IF YOU DON’T CONCENTRATE OVER SLEEP. So just watch it.
  • The length of watching is not important.
  • Give it a try for 90 days & see the difference.
You input, suggestions, post, stories, photos, life events, awesome experience is invited.

An Open Invitation to All

Dear Friends,

Since man started thinking, some thoughts always troubled him. Who am I? From where I have come? Where I will go after death? Is there someone who created all universe? Who holds all stars, Moon, Sun & govern their movements? From where air comes & go? How rains comes? How & why lighting strikes? How we fall ill? Is there any remedy of all miseries I face? All sort of numerous questions always arise in a human mind & kept troubling them. Human mind was & is remained a chatter box.

Of very-very late, even thousands year back, wise men tried to solved these questions through "Intellectual level", "Scientific Level" & "Religious Level" as far as I can think. Who so ever tried to solve or find answers of these questions, have one quality in common....... That is "Great Insight".

From where & how this insight comes, how one can be develop it, how it can be enhanced are few questions I will try to solve for myself through this blog.  I will also narrating/writing about some greats people, their achievements, their thoughts in this blog, as I have under stood.

As it will a journey, not some show of wisdom, I invite all of you to join me in this journey. You too can participate in it. If you are willing, you are most welcome. You can write your valuable comments on the blog itself. You can send your own essay/essays which shall be published without any cuts (unless they are meant to hit general feeling & don't breach copyright) on my email ID. You can send photos, events & what not. After all it is your own blog.

Regards

Yours truly,

Politician's Open Fight on Twitter

" Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future. "
John F. Kennedy
Today Friday 9th, August, 2013 | When Nation was celebrating Eid & Tij, our politicians ensured that their presence are not missed on on Social Media. They showed congratulation for mostly Eid but few Tij too. Obviously Eid has pan India presence while Tij is cerebrated in north India Hind belt or as some convent & oxford educated people say "Cow Belt". But this Blog is not about Eid or Tij or both.

While Tweeting & doing usual chit chat I saw a tweet from Ashish Sharma ‏@A_Ashish14 as below which triggered a Twitter war between Mrs Sushma Swaraj, Leader Oppositin Lok Sabha & Sh. Omar Abdulla, CM J&K. The further tweets hurled upon each other is posted as below. Nothing wrong having tweeterbaji between two senior politicians. So Enjoy these tweets.
Mrs Sushma Swaraj, Leader Oppositin Lok Sabha, tweeted to Sh. Omar Abdulla in respon of Sh. Ashish Sharm tweet.

She further tweeted

Sh. Omar replied did not missed opportunity to show his knowledge about the situation & his eagerness of hiding communal color of the riot replied back in just 3 min as below.

You can't expect Sushmaji to be silent if replied in the manner Omar replied. So she shout back & very rightly to that she had not referred to any side(?).

Omar Abdullah is grandsn of Sh. shaikh Abdullah & son of Sh. Farooq Abdullah & has their quality in multiple, so easily can't be cowed down. He replied back

Being senior to Omar, Sushamji tweeted a controlled reply requesting to send more & enough force to save people.

Omar Abdullah again missed the point & asked Madam to talk to Army Commander or DGP for realistic assessment.

That made Sushmaji little angry. She refused to bypass Chief Minister (J&K) over law & order.

Perhaps good sense prevailed. They realised that twitter is not parliament where you can talk & belittle each other. Here public is watch you very closely & recording each & every thing. There is no speaker to disallow unparliamentry things.
So tweets stopped from both side. In last Sushmaji tweeted after some time about Army Flag march in the area.

All said & done. As I told, large tweeples were watching. As usual some appriciated & some started fighting from each side.

Miscusellaneos tweets :-

Some more :-

Wikileaks :: Saeed Naqvi & Rahul Gandhi

The blog is reproduction of wikileaks, as per below given link, reporting for what Saeed Naqvi said about Prince Charming Rahul Gandhi. Sh Saeed Naqvi is senior Indian journalist. The writer of this blog has neither added or deleted even a single punctuation, word or letter. ==================================================================

Classified By: DCM Robert O. Blake, Jr. for Reasons 1.4 (B, D)

1. (S)In a March 1 conversation with Poloff, influential columnist and political insider Saeed Naqvi commented on Rahul Gandhi at some length. Naqvi prefaced his remarks by noting that he was a personal friend of Rahul's father, Rajiv Gandhi, and a well-wisher of the Gandhi family. Naqvi was initially delighted when Sonia Gandhi projected Rahul as the heir apparent, but has since lost faith. He claims that the word among Congress insiders, including those in the coterie surrounding Sonia Gandhi, is that Rahul will never become Prime Minister for several reasons. Saying that he "refused to indulge in gossip," Naqvi claimed that it is increasingly common knowledge that Rahul suffers from "personality problems" of an emotional or psychological nature that are severe enough to prevent him from functioning as PM.
2. (S) Naqvi also claimed that his Congress contacts tell him that Rahul has failed as an MP representing the Gandhi pocket borough in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Congress purportedly hoped to create a revival campaign in UP based around Rahul and his appeal as a member of the Gandhi dynasty, but has now given up, as he "is causing more harm than good" and operates at cross-purposes to the state Congress leadership. According to Naqvi, Rahul has done nothing for UP except to make pro-forma appearances in Amethi, and has "made no impression on the people of the state." This is leading to growing discouragement that Congress will be able revive and take over the state from Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and his Samajwadi Party (SP) any time in the near future. This growing impatience is reportedly fueling internal debates as to whether it would be better for Congress to accept a junior partner status and cultivate an appropriate regional ally, such as Mayawati and her Dalit-based BSP party.
3. (S) Naqvi stated that the Gandhi family always preferred that Rahul's sister, Priyanka, enter politics, as she was judged to be more intelligent and savvy. Arguing that Sonia Gandhi is an Italian mother, and "like an Indian mother," has a protective feeling regarding her son, Naqvi speculated that Sonia apparently went against her better judgment and selected Rahul over his sister as "heir apparent." Naqvi claimed that Gandhi dynastic politics had no future, as the family has run out of prime ministerial candidates with appropriate charisma. Indira Gandhi was the last member of the dynasty capable of being an effective PM and Rajiv would never have won re-election had he not been assassinated. Naqvi implied that the common impression among Congress insiders is that Rahul is far below even his father in political ability.
4. (C) Comment: Naqvi offered an unusually sharp commentary of views we have heard elsewhere. While our Congress contacts invariably hail Sonia as a "visionary leader" with a special feeling for India's "common man" there are few in the party who are willing to offer such glowing comments on Rahul. Rahul disdains the Delhi social scene, in contrast to most of his political peers. In the few instances we have come across Rahul, he has kept a very low profile and kept mostly to himself or close friends. Despite signs of growing unhappiness from Congress insiders regarding Rahul, however, he continues to be the subject of press reports that rave about his participation in the early January Congress Youth training camp and suggest that he is preparing to take the mantle of the "leader of young India" and "blossoming into a leader with mass acceptability." During the two-day youth training session, Rahul engaged in interactive discussions ranging from pesticides in cola products -- he was against closing the plants -- to defending the GOI,s globalization policy and economic reforms. Given this publicity machine that Rahul enjoys, we, unlike Naqvi, are not yet prepared to write him off just yet.

WWF in Parliament

You have sat too long for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!    Cromwell, Oliver
15th August, 1947 is a golden day when India, that is Bharat, became independent from the clutches of foreign rule. It was a day of aspirations of millions of Indian. They saw a hope to have their own rule. They hoped a society where all shall be treated equal. They saw an opportunity when their efforts will benefit their own mother land. That day was people of India rose as independent citizen.
26th January, 1950 is second most important day in history of independent India. It is a day when India adopted democracy based on firm basic principles of republic & democratic form of government, secular character of constitution by maintaining federal character of the constitution. The constituent assembly worked over night to bring a written constitution inheriting the best principles of democracy from capitalist and socialist systems, which was mixed together into a democratic, federal Constitution and given to the Nation.
Hardly anyone will disagree that we failed to realize value of democracy, as we only worded for that & not earned through struggle. Other Nations & people died for them. That is why we show contempt for them by devaluing every sacred principle of democracy to serve vested ends. Perhaps that is why there has been no social evolution in democratic obligations and duties. "Duty" is a word has been forgotten not only by all public servants but by we all, the people of India.
Through this constitution parliament (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) at centre & legislative assembles were created where elected representatives were expected to work for India not for themselves. They are expected to discuss, make bills & policies through which aspiration of Indian public is taken care off. Now see what we have done with democratic, secular constitution. Our Temple of democracy, Parliament, has become hostage to an opportunistic section of society. Certainly few may not agree with me when I blame Congress Party who rules India most of the time in last 66 years. But fact remains the same that it cannot escape from its part in devaluing democratic duties.  In fact it has the distinction of having converted every process, practice and institution of democracy into legitimized subversion. It has encouraged tugs, criminal, mafias, traitors, plunders, specializing in the loot of our natural resources. Friendly Bureaucratic setup has helped them in siphon off plan budgets meant for public works or development programmes, including food and medicine for poor women and children and funds for the physically challenged.
Can opposite parties escape the blame? “NO” is the only answer. Ruling & opposition parties have learnt a naval way to high jack democratic value of parliament by stall house during session & not let it function so that important issues, which are against to their vested interests, are not discussed, important bills remain pending & welfare schemes of Mango Man are hijacked.
If you look at last few sessions, both houses hardly functioned as normally they are expected to function. The houses were thwarted time and again over different issues.  Do you remember that Jan Lokpal Bill was introduced in Rajya Sabha on 31st Dec, the last day of session, knowing well that it is very important bill & it will require time to discuss. The opening remarks of opposition leader Sh. Arun Jaitley were something like that “The people of India expecting us to pass this bill today. So even if we have to sit late or by tomorrow too, let us sit & pass the bill with amendments, if any”. Well said. I am great admirer of Arun Jaitley for his wisdom, oratory & knowledge of law. I don’t doubt his or other representative’s intention of passing that particular bill. But before discussion started the whole nation knew the “fate of bill”. They glued on TV sets, watching debates going on in the house hoping some good judgement or miracle to let this bill passed. What happened is known to whole India. The debate went on by mid night. Heaps of amendments were proposed. Minister concerned showed governments inability to go through procedure in proposed amendment & debated for want of time to do so. Hence Government proposed to sin-die house so that amendments are processed, bill is taken in next session. Arun Jaitley & other opposition leaders opposed & proposed to extend the session for next day which was not accepted by the Chairperson & house sine-die at mid-night.
“Once India got its freedom at mid-night but  India lost its freedom to catch corrupts at that mid-night.”
Everything, happened in the house, is quite lawful, as for as law is concerned. But what about sense of the house, over & above what about “sense of the Nation”? It was a clear cut conspiracy to delay the Lokpal bill, as much as possible, hatched by ruling party with blessings of opposition.
The only conclusion I can draw, as common man from the Lokpal Bill episode, is that most of our representatives & custodian of democracy are not sincere to the task they willing took up and also most of them are in conspiracy to subvert subjects most important public matters, which they find or think, may jeopardize their own vested interest.
Why I think so? It is because I see a conspiracy in the time table fixed for this bill. As for as I know, a time table is fixed by Business Advisory Committee for all matters to be raised in both houses. And also this time table is fixed by concurrence of all leaders of different parties. If that is the case, I raise question that:-
  • Why Lokpal Bill was presented in Upper House on the last date of session, knowing well that many amendments may be suggested by MPs?
  • Why members of Business Advisory Committee did not allotted sufficient  time for this very important of bill?
  • Why session was not extended to have discussion on amendments presented?
  • Why opposition did not demanded to pre-pone the time of presentation of this bill in the Upper house?
  • Why, as Leader Opposition suggestion & demand was not discussed for extending session time?

The concerned Minister sited tradition for sine-die of on last date of year. But this tradition could have been broken in this case? After all many times session had been extended to finish work in parliament.
The last but most important question is why a special session was not called to discuss this bill or why it was not reintroduced in next session as government mulled for "Food Security Bill"?
This clearly shows the apathy of Government plus opposition for this bill because if Lokpal Bill was passed; many representatives & their favorite bureaucrats may find a place in Jail with complete food security for years to come.
This is not an isolated incident. Many important bills are pending in parliament since long. For example “Women Reservation Bill”, “Land Accusation Bill”, “Direct Tax Code Bill” including "Lokpal Bill" are few such bills which are eating dust. It is duty of government to take them in such a way & manner that they all discussed and passed in a suitable manner. Opposition should also cooperate in discussing bill. But it does not happen. On small pretext houses are disturbed.
It is opposition’s fundamental right to oppose government in every rightful manner. But going to well of the house, disturbing house, not to let it function are not right manners. At the same time, it is government holistic duty to listen opposition & meet their just demands. But both are utterly failing in it.
In the last session, house was disrupted by determined opposition on the demand of Law Minister & Rail Minister’s resignation. Result, the house again ended without discussing "Food Security Bill" for which government, especially UPA Chair-Person Ms. Sonia Gandhi, is keen in getting this bill passed eyeing coming assembly & general election. They think this “Food Security Bill” is “Vote Security Bill”. Opposition too does not want this bill to be passed by giving credit to UPA Government. Crucial 4-5 days are lost in “Resignation Drama”. Ultimately both the ministers had to resign but only after session ended.
After mulling for calling a special session to get “Food Security Bill” passed, the Government brought ordinance for “Food Security Bill” as opposition was not ready for special session & also as monsoon session was very near. If government was so keen to get “Food Security Bill” is “Vote Security Bill” passed, why it did not accepted opposition demand for resignation of those ministers who had to resign after ward.
Now see, when any business pertaining to members benefit, all members concur without any opposition, if it related to their salary & parks, or subverting RTI for Political Parties or amending Public Representation Act to keep alleged criminals in politic. All such bills are passed by voice votes.
All the discussion indicates “WWF” or “Nura-Kushti” is arranged in parliament. Today Monsoon session has started & same "WWF" would start soon.

We can only pray & wish that political parties come to senses & behave in the manner they are expected.
Long Live democracy. Let it live in letter & spirit of democracy our forefathers have chosen.

Disclaimer:- This blog has been written to show common man anguish over functioning of our elected/chosen representatives. It does not mean to dishonor democracy or parliament as whole. Surely we have many honest & sprited democratice representable whose voices are lost in the din.
